Mary Hartley, Vice President, Xytex Corporation. A native of Atlanta, she grew up in Athens, Greece, where she graduated from Deree College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After returning to the states, she completed training to be a licensed medical laboratory technologist, which led her to accept a part-time lab position at Xytex in 1987. Today, she focuses mostly on donor recruitment and counseling patient recipients and client depositors. As a first-time mom after age 40, she empathizes with women concerning the urgency of the biological clock.
